Second- and third-year law students in Penn State Dickinson Law’s Business Law Society and Assistant Professor of Legal Writing and Entrepreneurship Law Samantha Prince recently led a workshop to educate early-stage entrepreneurs and Penn State Berks engineering students about when to license an invention or start a company.

As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, Penn State Berks will hold a variety of events on campus from Nov. 12 to 16. The college has several lectures planned for aspiring student entrepreneurs and two events are open to the public.

David Tell, associate professor of communication at the University of Kansas and a co-founder of the Emmett Till Memory Project, will visit Penn State Berks to present “Remembering Emmett Till” from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. Nov. 5 in the Multipurpose Room in the Perkins Student Center.

Penn State Berks will hold its final major admissions program before the University’s upcoming Nov. 30 priority application deadline. The Berks Experience will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10.

As part of the "Global Oscars Comes to Berks," Penn State Berks will present their third film, “The Insult,” at 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, in room 5 of the Luerssen Building. The presentation is free and open to the public.

Penn State students will have the opportunity to learn more about the Thanksgiving holiday and similar holidays around the world by attending the Penn State Northeast Regional Thanksgiving Dinner.

Madison Wojciechowski was selected as a member of the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Third Team on Wednesday afternoon, as voted by the conference coaches.

Berks women's soccer team had seven players earn All-NEAC recognition and Caitlin Golden repeated as the NEAC Player of the Year, as voted on by the conference head coaches and announced by the league office on Wednesday.
