The Penn State Langan LaunchBox is sponsoring an Idea Challenge for Penn State Berks students. Students can submit ideas as individuals or as teams and submissions can include concepts for businesses and services. Three entries will be awarded $100 each. The deadline for submission is Nov. 10.
Penn State Berks students will visit the Police Athletic Center in Reading to serve Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 16. Students will arrive at 4 p.m. and begin the day by doing crafts with the Olivet Boys & Girls Club youth and then serve Thanksgiving dinner.
As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, Penn State Berks will hold a variety of events during the week of Nov. 13–19. The college has several lectures planned for aspiring student entrepreneurs and one event is open to the public. A new class of 164 Penn State Berks students will receive their baccalaureate and associate degrees at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 15 in the Beaver Community Center, when Berks hosts its fall 2017 commencement ceremony.
